ACD Systems Revs ACDSee

Seattle-based ACD Systems, the developer of photo management and editing tools, reported today that it has launched an upgrade of its flagship products. ACD Systems said that it has released ACDSee Pro 5 and ACDSee 14, which it says provide professional features normally found in much more expensive photo editing software products like Adobe Photoshop, Bridge, and Lightroom, at a much lower cost. Among new features in the software are new drawing tools, metadata editing, geotagging support, and more. ACD also said it has made its online photo sharing and storage site free.
