Bocada Launches New Product

Kirkland-based Bocada, the developer of data protection software, reported today that it has launched a new product. The firm said its new Bocada vpConnect software provides data protection service management for both physical and virtual environments. The new product provides information on backup recovery and health across both physical environments and virtual environments. The software is aimed at reducing the time IT administrators need to manage their systems. Bocada is led by Nancy Hurley, and is venture backed by Catamount Ventures, Guide Ventures, Madrona Venture Group, Partech International, and Second Avenue.
