ClearAccess Acquired By Cisco
Vancouver, Washington-based ClearAccess, a developer of software used to provision and manage residential and mobile devices, is being acquired by networking giant Cisco, Cisco announced today. Financial terms of the buy were not announced. Cisco said it is acquiring ClearAccess to gain access to both the firm's software and talent. ClearAcecss develops software which allows broadband service providers to manage their networks. The firm was venture backed by Blade Ventures, Oregon Angel Fund, Montlake Capital, and DFJ Frontier.
