Banyan Branch Launches Media Buying Practice

Seattle-based Banyan Branch, the venture backed social media agency which pulled in a Series A $1.7M funding round in October, announced Tuesday that it has launched a new, media buying practice. The firm said the practice will help provide strategy and planning, paid social media buying services, and performance tracking to clients. The new practice will be headed by Matt Haynes, Director of Director of Social Strategy and Media Planning, and Kerry Antezana, Director of Agency Services. Banyan Branch has an unusual set of backers for a social media agency, including Geoff Entress of Voyager Capital and Blake Cahill, formerly of Visible Technologies. Cahill is President and Principal of the firm.
