Evri: Sorry New Users, Try Again Please
Seattle-based Evri, the developer of real time news discovery software for the iPad, has a message for all the users who tried to create an account last week: try again, please. In an unusual admittance, the software developer said that it had a brief hardware failure last week, which took its servers offline, but which it quickly recovered from. However, unbeknownst to the company, that failure created a backlog of request for new accounts, improperly informing more than half of its new users that there was a "general network connectivity" problem. Evri said it has since fixed the issue, and hopes users who have been unable to use its Evri for iPad software will be willing to try again.
