Evri Shows New Features
Seattle-based Evri, which is developing a service to help people track information about specific people and topics, debuted a new feature of the firm's site Monday at the DEMO conference in Palm Desert, California. Evri said that it is debuting a beta of its "Collections" feature, which allows users to group various people, topics, or information into a single page. The new feature collects together a number of Internet searches on a similar topic--determined by the user--and allows users to browse articles, photos, videos, and other information related to the collection. Evri is venture backed by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, through his firm Vulcan Capital; the firm's CEO, Neil Roseman, is the former VP of Software at Amazon.com.
