Microsoft Dangles $60K In Cloud Services To TechStars Startups
Bellevue-based Microsoft is looking to convince a few more startups to take advantage of its cloud service, Windows Azure, in a deal with venture accelerator TechStars. According to Microsoft, it is offering up $60,000 worth of Windows Azure services to startups involved in TechStars various programs, including TechStars' Seattle program, which is run by Andy Sack. No details of the relationship between TechStars and Microsoft were announced. Microsoft's BizSpark program offers free and discounted tools and licenses to startups.
