Amazon Offers Incentives To Students Via Android

Seattle-based Amazon.com is looking to attract college students to the site via a new, Android application, the firm said this week. Amazon said its free Amazon Student app, aimed at college students, allow students to shop for holiday gifts and other products, trade in used textbooks, and get free two-day shipping. The free app also will present special student deals. Amazon also offers the app for the iPhone. The app is available on the Android Market.
