Amazon Web Services Exec Tom Phillips Dies In Plane Crash

Amazon Web Services general manager Tom Phillips has died in a plane crash in Lake Huron, Michigan, according to multiple reports. Phillips crashed Saturday when flying to his home on Mackinac Island. Phillips had been at AWS since January, and previously spend over 20 years at Microsoft.
