SEOmoz Adds Social Analytics
Seattle-based SEOmoz, the developer of search engine optimization tools, said today that it has added social analytics capabilities to its suite of software. The firm--which is headed by Rand Fishkin--said its social analytics features allows users to measure their Facebook and Twitter efforts, tracking the growth of those networks and comparing them against competitors. The new tool tracks the number of followers, retweets on Twitter, Facebook plans, likes, and traffic patterns from both services. SEOmoz explained that the new tools are available in its SEOmoz PRO product. SEOmoz announced at the end of September that it was in the midst of adding social analytics features in the software.
