Skytap Bolsters Hybrid Cloud Support
Seattle-based Skytap, the developer of cloud automation software which is backed by Madrona, Ignition, Bezos Expeditions, OpenView, and the Washington Research Foundation (WRF), said this week it has expanded its hybrid cloud support. The additional support came in the form of advanced notification features, self-healing network management, and support for the Open Virtualization Format (OVF), in addition to other features. OVF is a new format which packages virtual machines and software for use on private, hybrid, and public clouds. Skytap is headed by Scott Roza.
