NanoString Technologies Lands $20M
Seattle-based NanoString Technologies, a developer of life sciences tools, said today that it has raised $20M in a Series D equity funding round. The round came from GE, BioMed Ventures and Henri Termeer (former CEO of Genzyme Corporation), as well as prior investors Clarus Ventures, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, and OVP Venture Partners. The firm said the new funds go towards growing its life science tools business. NanoString is run by Brad Gray. More information »
