NanoString Sets New CFO

Seattle-based lifesciences tool developer NanoString Technologies said this morning that it has named James A. Johnson as its new Chief Financial Officer. Johnson joins the firm from Relypsa, where he also served as CFO' he also has been at ZymoGenetics, Targeted GEnetics, and Immunex Corporation. Current CFO Wayne Burns becomes Senior Vice President, Operations and Administration. NanoString is a developer of molecular diagnostic tools used for genetic analysis.
