Hipcricket Wins Virginia Lottery

Kirkland, Washington-based Hipcricket, the provider of mobile marketing and advertising, has won the Virginia Lottery--as a customer, that is. The firm said that the Virginia Lottery will use its platform for a multichannel mobile marketing initiative. Financial details of that win was not announced. Hipcricket is now owned by Augme Technologies.
