Black Pixel Picks Up Versions, Kaleidoscope
Seattle-based iPhone app developer Black Pixel said today that it has picked up the products Versions and Kaleidoscope, which had been developed by app development firm Sofa. According to Black Pixel, the firm approached Sofa's team about buying the titles, after Sofa was acquired by Facebook. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed. Sofa's development team had joined Facebook, but had retained their apps to market separately. Black Pixel had made a similar buy back in June, when it acquired NetNewsWire from NewsGator, after NewsGator decided to switch its focus from the RSS reader.
