Parallels Powers Cloud For KDDI America
Renton, Washington-based Parallels has inked a deal with KDDI America, the US arm of telecommunications and colocation provider KDDI Group, to power KDDI America's new cloud hosting services. Parallels said its Parallels Automation product is powering the new KDDI KA-Kloud offering. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. KDDI's KA-Kloud will allow companies to deploy cloud-based applications and IT resources. KDDI Group runs 59 data centers around the world.
