Microsoft Boosts Adchemy
Bellevue-based Microsoft Corp. has made an investment in a developer of tools for placing search engine advertising. According to Silicon Valley-based ad technology firm Adchemy, it has inked a strategic deal with Microsoft Advertising, where it will provide its technology to select adCenter customers. IN return, Microsoft Corp. has made an investment as part of a $61M funding round for Adchemy, which also included that company's prior investors, August Capital and Mayfield Fund. Microsoft's exact invesment in Adchemy was not disclosed. Adchemy's technology helps advertisers place search engine ads, without having to manage individual keywords directly. More information »
