Ignition Leads Investment in PaaS Firm
Seattle-based venture capital firm Ignition Partners is the lead investor in a New York-based developer of Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) software. New York-based Apprenda said Tuesday that it raised $10M in a Series B led by Ignition. The round also included New Enterprise ASsociates and High Peaks Ventuer Partners. Ignition's Frank Artale joins Apprenda's board with the funding. Apprenda's PaaS tools are based on the .NET architecture, and allow organizations to run .NET application in the cloud.
