Opscode Names New CEO
Seattle-based Opscode, the developer of cloud infrastructure automation tools, said this morning that it has named Mitch Hill as its Chief Executive Officer. Hill replaces Jesse Robbins, who becomes Chief Community Officer. Hill was previously CEO of Avanade, the joint venture of Accenture and Microsoft, and had previously headed by Accenture's electronics and high tech business in the western U.S. Opscode said that Robbins will focus on stewarding the community ecosystem around the company's products.
