Opscode Raises $11M

Seattle-based Opscode, a developer of automation software for the cloud computing market, said today that it has raised $11M in a Series B funding round. According to Opscode, the round was led by Battery Ventures, and also included Draper Fisher Jurvetson. Opscode said the new funding will go to expand engineering staff, for research and development, as well as for sales and marketing. The new funding round brings the company's total raised to $13.5M.
