Janrain Scores $15.5M

Portland-based JanRain, the developer of OpenID and other identity management software, announced today that it has raised $15.5M in a financing round. The round was led by Emergence Capital Partners, and also included Anthem Venture Partners, DFJ Frontier, RPM Ventures, Tim Draper, and Square 1 Bank. The company said the funding will go towards adding resources and employees. JanRain is headed by Larry Drebes, and says is now at 60 employees. More information »
