Itron Wins Contract In India

Liberty Lake-based smart meter maker Itron reports this morning that it has scored a major, water meter contract in Delhi, India. According to the firm, Larsen & Toubro, which is the largest construction company in India, is using its meters as part of a 18-month project. The firm said it will deliver 250,000 water meters as part of the project, the largest in India so far for the company. Financial details of the win were not disclosed.
