Varolii Snags $8M

Seattle-based Varolii, which develops interactive voice, text, and email systems for corporations, said this morning that it has raised $8M in a Series D funding round. The round came from current investors BlueRun Ventures, Draper Fischer Jurvetson, Institutional Venture Partners and InterWest Partners. According to the company, it has added Lee Roberts and William Bryant to its board as part of the funding round. Robert is the president and CEO of BlueWater Management Consulting, and previously served as an executive at IBM, and was chairman and CEO of FileNet. Bryant is at Draper Fisher Jurvetson, and was previously at Visio Corporation, NetBot, Qpass, and other firms. More information »
