NanoString Targets $14M In Fundraising Effort
Seattle-based NanoString Technologies, the developer of genetic analysis hardware, appears to have kicked off an effort to raised $14M in a new round of funding, according to a regulatory filing by the firm yesterday. The filing indicates the firm has raised $2.5M of that $14M so far. Names of the investors were not disclosed. NanoString is venture backed by Clarus Ventures, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, and OVP Venture Partners, and last raised funding in 2009. More information »
