DataSphere Turns To Maponics For Map Data

Bellevue-based DataSphere Technologies, the provider of software used to manage the content and sales of hyper-local websites, said Thursday that is it turning to map data firm Maponics for neighborhood boundary information. Financial details of the deal between the firms was not announced. DataSphere said it will be using the map data to enhance the next version of its local events calendar product. DataSphere is venture backed by OVP Venture Partners, Ignition Partners and Fisher Communications.
