DataSphere Raises $10M
Bellevue-based DataSphere Technologies, a developer of software used to manage the content and sales of hyperlocal web sites, said this morning that it has raised $10M in its Series C funding round. The round was led by OVP Venture Partners, and also includes prior investors Ignition Partners and Fisher Communications. DataSphere said the new funding will go toward scaling its business, including accelerating the build out of its community websites, and enhancing its product. DataSphere said it reached over 12 million unique visitors across its network in August, and has over 150 employees, with another 150 expected by the end of the year. DataSphere said it now has a network of over 750 hyperlocal web sites. More information »
