Apptria Technologies Takes On Software Asset Management
A new, Seattle startup, Apptria Technologies, said Wednesday that it has launched, aimed at helping software developers to identify software that has been installed on corporate networks. Apptria said it has created a software catalog, developed by software asset management firm Express Metrix, which helps developers identify exactly what software is installed and being used in corporate networks. The company said the catalog has already been licensed by such customers as IBM, New Boundary Technologies, Numara Software, BMC, Amando Software, FAST Ltd., and LANDesk.
