Geospiza Acquired By PerkinElmer

Seattle-based Geospiza, the developer of software for managing genetic analysis workflow, has been acquired by PerkinElmer. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. PerkinElmer said the deal would boost its offerings in the the area of Next Generation DNA Sequencing and Analysis Services.
