INRIX Launches Traffic App On Amazon App Store

Kirkland-based INRIX said it has launched its INRIX Traffic App for Android on the Amazon App Store. The firm's application provides traffic information and speed information for drivers, allowing them to avoid traffic bottlenecks. INRIX has previously been offering its app for both iPhone and Android phones via the Android Market and Apple App store. The app is free, however the firm also offers up an in-app purchase of a premium service, INRIX Traffic Pro, which recommends routes and suggested departure times for users to avoid traffic jams.
