Mozy Adds iPhone, Android Apps

Seattle-based Mozy, the online backup service owned by EMC, said Thursday that it has launched new iPhone and Android applications. Mozy said the new apps will allow users to remotely access the files they have backed up using the MozyHome service, including viewing documents, previewing photos as thumbnails, and posting photos to Facebook. Both are free to Mozy customers. The new iOS app is available for download now, with the firm promising release of the Android app "soon".
