Splunk Sets Up Shop in Seattle
Splunk, a developer of IT monitoring software, said today that it has opened up a new Seattle research and development office. The firm, which is based in San Francisco, said it has tapped Brad Lovering as Vice President of Developer pLatform. Lovering is a former Microsoft Technical Fellow. Splunk said that Lovering is charged with building a team of developers in Seattle. Splunk's software is used for monitoring IT applications, and providing information on IT infrastructure, troubleshooting outages, and security incidents.
