Pressplane Gets New Funding

Seattle-based Pressplane, a stealth mode firm backed by Curious Office Partners, has upped its funding by $400,000, according to Curious Office. Curious Office said the investment brings its total investment into Pressplane to $2.2 million. Other investors in the funding round include Nick Hanauer, Mike Slade, Pete Higgins, and Rich Barton, as well as Erik Blachford, John Cunningham, and Mika Salmi. Salmi also joins the firm as Chairman. Salmi is the former president of MTV. Curious Office said the new funding will go towards developing a new mobile platform. More information »
