Hipmunk Gets Heavy Seattle Backing

San Francisco-based Hipmunk, an online travel booking site, revealed today that it has raised $4.2M in funding from a slew of Seattle investors. The round was led by Ignition Partners, and also included Rich Barton and Erik Blachford of Expedia, Jim Hornthal of Preview Travel, Simon Breakwell of TravelPost, and RealNetworks' Rob Glaser.
