Amazon Releases Kindle For Windows Phone 7

Seattle-based Amazon.com has released its Kindle application for the Windows 7 platform, the firm said this morning. According to Amazon, the new application can be downloaded for free from the Windows Phone Marketplace. The application supports the usual features of Amazon's Kindle apps, and also adds new features such as personalized recommendations for books on the home screen, and ability to send recommendations to friends via the application. Amazon now supports iPad, iPOd touch, iPhone, PC, Mac, BlackBerry, Windows Phone 7 and Android devices with its Kindle app, in addition to support on the various Kindle models themselves.
