Clearwire's McCaw Resigns From Board
Craig O. McCaw, the chairman of Kirkland-based Clearwire, is resigning from the firm's board, according to a regulatory filing by the firm. According to Clearwire, McCaw is resigning from the company's board, effective December 31, 2010. According to Clearwire, McCaw's decision to resign is "not due to any disagreements with the Company on any matters relating to the Company’s operations, policies, or practices." Clearwire said that Eagle River, McCaw's investment firm, retains the right to nominate a member of the board, and intends to nominate Benjamin G. Wolff to replace McCaw.
