Bookbyte Rolls Out Guaranteed Buybacks For Textbooks

Salem, Oregon-based Bookbyte, an online retailer of used and new texbooks, said today that it has launched a new, guaranteed buyback program aimed at college students. The online retailer said it will offer up a guaranteed buyback of a student's textbook at the end of their term, and that the program is aimed at replacing textbook rental programs. The company said that its option makes it cheaper for students to purchase textbooks and then sell them back, than for students to use competing textbook rental sites.
