Tyfone Gets Patent
Portland-based Tyfone, a developer of mobile payment technology, said today that it has secured a new patent. According to the firm, it has received U.S. Patent 7,805,615, entitled "Asymmetric cryptography with user authentication", used in its electronic wallet technology. The firm said the new patent brings its total issued patents to four. According to the U.S. Patent and Trademark office, the patent was actually issued on September 28th. The patent names Siva G. Narenda, Prabhakar Tadepalli, and Thomas N. Spitzer as inventors.
