Peanut Labs Acquired By e-Rewards

Peanut Labs, an operator of an online market research and survey service targeted at social networking, social games, and online games sites, which has offices and operations in Seattle, has been acquired. According to Peanut Labs, it was acquired by e-Rewards, in a deal expected to close next month. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Peanut Labs Seattle operations are based in Issaquah, and offers up market research surveys to clients. Peanut Labs said that business will become part of e-Rewards Research Now offering, with that business ceasing to be a client-facing trading brand on January 1, 2011. The firm said that the Peanut Labs sales and operations team--which is based in Seattle--will be "fully integrate" within Research Now. The company did not say how the move affects its Seattle team and jobs in the location. Peanut Labs will continue to operate its San Francisco-based social market research services.
