Fluke Enhances Network Forensics Tool
Everett, Washington-based Fluke Networks said this week that it has enhanced the firm's network forensics tool, Network Time Machine, which is used by network engineers to monitor and track network traffic. According to Fluke, the upgraded product now includes frame de-duplication features which reduce the size of captured data, and a new feature to filter out data users do not want to save, but still store entire packet of critical applications. The firm's tools are used to capture days, weeks, or months worth of network traffic and packets, in order to analyze performance problems on company networks.
