Lynguent Names CEO
Portland-based Lynguent, a provider of software simulation tools for analog and mixed signal semiconductors, said today that it has named Sam Young as its new President and CEO. Young joins the firm from Contour Semiconductor. Founder and former CEO Martin Vlach has become Chief Technology Officer for the firm. Lynguent said Young also has participated in the raise of $100 million in venture capital for companies, and has previously been at IDL, Hynix Semiconductor, Exel Microelectronics, Corsair Microsystems and Hyundai Electronics' Flash memory division, among other firms.
