Isilon Wins Hosted Email Firm

Seattle-based storage provider Isilon reported today that it has added a provider of hosted email and email compliance, USA.NET, as a customer. According to Isilon, USA.NET has deployed its scale out storage products, as part of its Message Archival solutions. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. USA.NET is a subsidiary of Perimeter E-Security, and provides a service to archive email messaging. Isilon said its product is being used to consolidate VMware servers and file-based storage onto a single file system.
