Amazon EC2 Vets Nab Another $15M

Two Amazon.com veterans who worked on the Amazon EC2 service have just scored another $15M in venture capital funding. According to Nimbula, the startup started by Chris Pinkham and Willem van Biljon, the new round was led by Accel Partners, and also included prior investor Sequoia Capital. Nimbula is located in Silicon Valley. Pinkjam and Biljon both worked for Amazon.com in its South African operations, where Nimbula said they led development of the Amazon EC2 public cloud service.
