Bing, Yahoo Start Testing Efforts

Microsoft's search engine, Bing, said today that it has begun testing integration with Yahoo, to verify joint work across the two firms systems. The firm did not say when it will go into full rollout of the search alliance with Yahoo, but said it expects to complete transition in the US and Canada "over the next few months." Bing and Yahoo linked in a search and advertising deal nearly a year ago, which calls for Bing to power Yahoo's search, and to direct Yahoo's advertisers to Microsoft's adCenter.
