Puppet Labs Raises $5M
Portland-based Puppet labs, a developer of data center automation tools, said this morning that it has raised $5M in a Series B funding round. The round was led by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, and also includes True Ventures and Radar Partners. As part of the funding, the firm said that Kevin Compton of Radar Partners has joined its board of directors. The firm said it has now raised over $7M in funding. Puppet Labs develops an open source data center automation tool called Puppet, which is used by IT administrators to automate the management of data center servers. More information »
