Symform Raises $4M

Seattle-based Symform, a provider of cloud-based, backup and recovery services, said today that it has raised $4M in a financing round. The round was led by Longworth Venture Partners, and also included OVP Ventures. Longworth's Nilanjana Bhowmik joins the company's board as part of the funding. Symform provides offsite backup and recovery services, targeted at small businesses. The firm claims its offering is ten times chaper and faster than traditional, online backup services.
