Runic Games Raises $7.0M

Seattle-based Runic Games, maker of the role playing game Torchlight, has raised $7.0M in a funding round, according to a regulatory filing by the firm today. Source of the new funding has not been announced by the company. Runic was founded by Travis Baldree, Max Schaefer, Erich Schaefer and Peter Hu, and released its Torchlight title in October of 2009.
