Big Fish Games Raises $83M
Seattle-based casual games maker Big Fish Games said this morning that it has raised $83.3M in a financing round, from Balderton Capital, General Catalyst Partners, and Salmon River Capital. The firm said that the funding will go to accelerate global expansion. Big Fish Games runs an online destination focused on casual games. In a statement, Big Fish Games president and CEO Jeremy Lewis said the deal came "after an extensive search." Mark Evans of Balderton Capital joins the frim's board of directors along with the funding. More information »
