Off & Away Unveils Travel Auction Site

Seattle-based Off & Away, a new website focused on travel auctions, has launched at TechCrunch Disrupt, saying that the firm has scored funding from Madrona Venture Group. The company is headed by Doug Aley, and said its other founders come from Amazon.com, Expedia, Orbitz, and Alaska Airlines. Off and Away is focused on luxury hotel room and hotel suites.
