Microsoft Sues Salesforce.com Over Patents

Redmond-based Microsoft Corp. said last night that it has filed a patent infringement suit against Salesforce.com. According to Microsoft, it filed the lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington, alleging that Salesforce.com has infringed on nine Microsoft patents by their CRM product. Other details on the lawsuit were not released.
