Tektronix Buys SyntheSys Research

Beaverton, Oregon-based Tektronix said Thursday that it has acquired SyntheSys Research, a silicon valley firm that manufacturers high-speed, signal integrity test and measurement instrumentation. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. SyntheSys is known for its BERTScope tool, used for bit error rate (BERT) testing by the computer, storage and communications industries.
